Escape from the Spaghetti Men

Escape from the Spaghetti Men is a fast-paced, rules-light RPG for 2–5 players about alien abduction, animal facts, and creative problem-solving. Designed for one-shots but expandable into full campaigns of noodle-fueled nonsense, it challenges players to escape from bizarre, semi-competent extraterrestrials using only their wits—and weird zoology knowledge.

The inspiration comes from bedtime stories my father used to tell me: I’d be abducted by the Spaghetti Men and transformed into an animal. My friends and I would have to outsmart the aliens using real animal behaviors. It was silly, chaotic, and deeply formative.

This game is a tribute to that spirit of curiosity and laughter. You don’t need stats—just imagination, gumption (literal and figurative), and maybe a candy-based bribe system.
